Going on

Tarot gives me immense freedom in design — it empowers me to explore areas I never dared to touch before. With Tarot, there’s no such thing as ‘too much’ or ‘too colourful’ — nothing can beat the naive charm and basic watercolour palette of the original cards.

At first, I thought I’d strictly keep the traditional symbols, but I completely lost track: the memories tied to them swept me far off the main path.

It’s a bad habit of mine to give a preview before a project is finished… and against all kind, and supportive warnings, that’s not about to change. 

A Tarot hatalmas szabadságot ad a tervezésben, felhatalmaz rá, hogy csupa olyan területet járjak be, amihez eddig nem volt bátorságom. A Tarot esetében nincs olyan, hogy “túl sok”, “túl színes”, ez eredeti kártyák naív báját és az alap vízfesték szett színeit nem lehet fölülmúlni. 

Kezdetben azt gondoltam, hogy szigorúan követni fogom a szimbólumrendszerét, de elszadt velem a ló: a hozzájuk kapcsolódó emlékek erősen elsodortak a fő csapásról. 

Rossz szokásom a megjelenés előtt ízelítőt adni a munkámból… és félek minden tiltás ellenére ez nem fog változni. :-D
